DBF at UCI:
We are a student-led engineering project team of 32 students at the University of California, Irvine, competing annually in the AIAA Design/Build/Fly competition. Our mission is to bridge classroom knowledge with hands-on aircraft design, fabrciation, and testing.
Our Mission 2025-2026: Each year, AIAA releases new rules and scoring criteria. This year's challenge focuses on delivering passengers, cargo, and deploying a banner. Our Team is currently in the design phase and preparing for testing in the Winter.

Competition Location: Tucson, Arizona
Mission 1: FLy 3 Laps in Under 5 Minutes
Mission 2: Carry Payload in Soda Bottles
Mission 3: Drop an Autonomous Glider at 400 ft.
